Paolo Gisondi is Associate Professor of Dermatology and Venereology and President of the Residence Program of the School of Specialization in Dermatology and Venereology at the University Hospital of Verona, Verona, IT.
Gisondi is an executive committee member of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (EADV) and board representative for Italy (until September 9, 2022), a member of the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA), and a member of EULAR task force on the “EULAR Points to Consider for the definition of clinical and imaging features suspicious for progression to psoriatic arthritis”.
Gisondi’s main interests include the epidemiological, clinical, and therapeutic aspects of chronic plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Apart from clinical research, more than half of his working hours are dedicated to the outpatient clinic, including dermatological basic surgery.
