André CarvalhoSteering Committee Member

Dr André Carvalho is the coordinator of the Psoriasis Department of the Brazilian Society of Dermatology (period 2020-2022) and the Global Psoriasis Atlas (GPA) National coordinator (Brazil). He is a SBD (Sociedade Brasileira de Dermatologia) certified dermatologist  and received his PhD in pathology from the Universidade Federal de Ciências da Saúde de Porto Alegre. Dr Carvalho carried out his thesis titled "Efficacy of Immunobiologic and Small Molecule Inhibitors Drugs for Psoriasis: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis of Randomized Clinical Trials". He is currently the head of the psoriasis ambulatory at the Hospital Moinhos de Vento de Porto Alegre and a dermatology teacher at Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos Medical School.
