The pair discuss reasons why PsA is important to diagnose and treat as well summarizing the recent updated EULAR recommendations for the management of PsA. Merola goes on to discuss the roles of dermatologists, rheumatologists and the wider multidisciplinary team and reviews how their collaborative care is vital for appropriate diagnosis, treatment, and comorbidity screening. Merola also places emphasis on the importance of facilitated communication between physicians to allow for the most effective care for patients.
