CONGRESS #EADVcongress | April W. Armstrong presented results from the 'Psoriasis and Beyond' study on the impact of Psoriatic disease on mental health. 60% of patients reported having mild PsO, 24% reported having moderate PsO, and 16% reported having severe PsO.

CONGRESS #EADVcongress | Maja Mockenhaupt spoke about spesolimab safety in GPP, PPP and AD across 5 clinical trials. The safety profile of spesolimab across the trials was comparable to placebo, and frequency of AEs was similar across trials.

CONGRESS #EADVcongress | Diamant Thaçim reported on COVID-19 related AEs in the Phase 3 POETYK trials. Of the the 153 patients recieving deucravacitinib, serious COVID-19-related AEs occurred in 43 patients, 13 of these patients with COVID-19 pneumonia.

CONGRESS #EADVCongress | Marieke Seyger gave an informative talk about paediatric #psoriasis. Seyger spoke about the predictive diagnostic criteria, such as a well-demarkated erythematous rash on the body, and a family history of psoriasis.

CONGRESS #EADVCongress | Anna Belloni Fortina spoke about the use of biologics in paediatric patients. Treatment with biologic agents in general may require less laboratory monitoring compared to conventional therapies, but we should consider current evidence for use in children.
