Clinical considerations for the management of psoriasis in women

Murase begins by highlighting the importance of discussions between women with psoriasis and their doctor prior to pregnancy, as well as the benefits of using folic acid prior to and during pregnancy. Murase then discusses how pregnancy can be therapeutic for psoriasis and can affect the treatment that is most suitable. Finally, Murase talks about the potential of immunosuppression of the fetus in patients who are being treated using a biologic therapy.
